Welcome to SessionSnapshot. By using our website, Chrome extension, and dashboard (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
SessionSnapshot helps QA teams record exploratory testing sessions locally, analyze coverage, visualize heatmaps, and generate automated tests. The extension stores data on your device by default. You may export data or connect optional integrations at your discretion.
2. Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features may require an account and a paid subscription after a free trial. You agree to provide accurate information and to pay applicable fees. We may change plans and pricing with notice going forward.
3. Trials and Cancellation
New users may access a free trial. After the trial, continued use may require a subscription. You can cancel at any time from your account settings and you will keep access until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the Service without permission.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.
5. Data Handling
By default, session data (events, screenshots, logs) is stored locally in your browser's storage. If you choose to export or share data, you remain responsible for where you store it and who can access it. For information about personal data and your privacy rights, see our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement when we act as a processor for your users' data.
6. Intellectual Property
SessionSnapshot, including its name, logos, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. If changes are material, we will provide notice by email or in-product. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Romania.
